Don’t Have an Alcoholic Beverage … Play!
by Adriel on Mar.20, 2016, under Casino
If you enjoy having a a drink occasionally, leave your cash at home if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Empty your evening bag, your money belt, and keep all money, charge cards and checks back at the hotel. Only take only the money you intend to spend on beverages, tips and only the pocket change you expect to throw away and leave the remainder behind.
Cynical? Not by any means. Just realistic. You may well experience a success after a drunken evening out with your buddies and be lucky enough to hook a marathon toss at a smokin craps game. Hang on to that story because it is as short-lived as it gets if you continually consume alcohol and wager. The two simply don’t mix.
Leaving your money out of the casino might be a little bit drastic, but precautionary measures for excessive actions is necessary. If you wager to win, then do not drink and play. If you like to be wasteful with your $$$$ without a worry, then drink all the gratuitous alcohol you can handle, but don’t take plastic credit and checks to toss into the mix of following losses after your inebriated head squanders everything!
Permit me to take this one step further. Don’t consume alcohol and then head online to play in your preferred internet casino either. I enjoy a beer from the comfort of my apartment, but because I am connected through Neteller, Firepay and keep credit cards at my fingertips, I can not drink alcohol and gamble.
How come? Although I don’t drink alcohol to excess, once I drink, it is clearly sufficient to cloud my judgment. I bet, so I don’t drink when gambling. If you are a drinker, do not bet when you do. The two mix up for a decimating, and expensive, cocktail.
