Illinois gambling dens

Illinois is home to riverboat gambling halls, and there are nine chief gambling dens in Illinois. Illinois was the fifth commonwealth accepted to the US on Dec 3, 1818 and it is the 5th largest heavily populated commonwealth in the U.S. With the appearance of the Alton Belle, Illinois became only the second state to permit water based gambling dens. Argosy’s Alton Belle gambling hall was the 1st river boat gambling den in Illinois, opening to the public in 1991. It is situated at One Front St. in Alton. Three dining rooms accessible for clients. The gambling den occupies Twenty-Three Thousand sq.ft. and highlights a twelve hundred customer bateau and a flatboat.

Besides gaming, Casino Queen provides a two thousand, five hundred patron river boat, a one hundred and forty space motor home court and simple access to MetroLink light-train station.
